The Australian War Widows (SA) Inc. is a non-profit organisation which is dedicated to the well-being of widows/widowers whose partners have died as a result of their war service for Australia. We now also encourage those who embrace the values of our organization to become Associate members, and enjoy the benefits of membership.
War Widows who are members of the Australian War Widows (SA) Inc. receive preferential consideration by ACH when wishing to locate to one of the Hewitt Avenue, Rose Park properties. Rose Park is very close to the CBD, the East Parklands and trendy coffee shops and boutique precincts such as Norwood and Dulwich.
The Rose Park property also houses the Australian War Widows (SA) Inc. offices and a War Widows Hall, amid pleasant cottage gardens. The office will assist members to find any relevant information. The Australian War Widows (SA) Inc. office networks with other organisations that can assist war widows, such as Legacy, Partners of Vietnam Veterans, DVA, Veterans SA, Health Direct and more.
The Australian War Widows (SA) Inc hold several events each year that members are more than welcome to participate. Often it is at social events that members can discover and share resources, find relevant information and give moral support to each other.
